A special blessing will be presented for the teachers and students for the upcoming school year. Todd Endersen, Pastor Chris Matson, Jesse Hurkesand, Sister Ramona along with others are scheduled to speak. Robbyn Givens will be the special entertainment. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event for $10.00 from local Kiwanis members or by calling Kami at 884-2014. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.00 per ticket.

Dave Neale won the 50" Plasma Television at the Kiwanis Closest to the Pin Shootout. His well placed shot came to rest 4' 6" away from the pin. Runnerup Ryan Shimke took home a GPS donated by First Premier Bank.

Kiwanis Club’s 4th Annual Hole-in-One Shootout culminated Monday night at Watertown’s Municipal Golf Course. Although there was no hole-in-on winner, Wayne Snyder’s stroke landed just 8 ½ feet away from the pin on the 181 yard #6 on yellow course, the closest of the 10 qualifying finalists. Kiwanis Prayer Breakfast tickets go on sale today. Kiwanis Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for Friday, Aug 14 from 8-9am at Cornerstone Church. A special blessing will be presented for the teachers and students for the upcoming school year. Dr Rick Melmer, Dr Lesli Hanson, Pastor Chris Matson, Mr. Darrell Stacey, Mrs. Bevers and others are scheduled to speak. 30th Annual Over 90’s Luncheon -

The Kiwanis Club hosted its 30th Annual Over 90’s Luncheon on Monday, June 8th at Lunkers Restaurant. Maj. Vickie Cole of the Watertown Salvation Army provided the innvocation and the program proceeded with the meal. Kiwanis Supports Pre-School Opportunities -

Hole-in-One Finals Held -

The Kiwanis $500,000 Hole-in-One Shootout finals were held Monday evening. Our closest-to-the-pin winner was Josh Kettwig. Other finalists were Todd Meester, Ken Larson, Steve Yseth, Dennis Kriech, Scott Johnston, Kurt Kezler, Rick Russman, Wayne Snyder, and Justin Rost.
