A special blessing will be presented for the teachers and students for the upcoming school year. Todd Endersen, Pastor Chris Matson, Jesse Hurkesand, Sister Ramona along with others are scheduled to speak. Robbyn Givens will be the special entertainment. Tickets can be purchased prior to the event for $10.00 from local Kiwanis members or by calling Kami at 884-2014. Tickets will also be available at the door for $12.00 per ticket.

Come out to Cattail Crossing for your change on August 4th, 5th, and 6th to quality and on August 9th to win it all. The Grand prize will be a Big Screen Television along with other prizes for the top 10.

Kiwanis Hole-In-One Shootout -  5/9/2010

Left to Right:  Kiwanian Curt Trego;  Shawn Lenning, 3rd place;  Ryan Schimke, 2nd place; Dave Neale, 1st place and Event Coordinator Jeff Dunn Dave Neale won the 50" Plasma Television at the Kiwanis Closest to the Pin Shootout. His well placed shot came to rest 4' 6" away from the pin. Runnerup Ryan Shimke took home a GPS donated by First Premier Bank. Thanks to the local sponsors who made this event possible.

Kiwanis Club’s 4th Annual Hole-in-One Shootout  -  7/27/2009

Kiwanis Club’s 4th Annual Hole-in-One Shootout culminated Monday night at Watertown’s Municipal Golf Course.  Although there was no hole-in-on winner, Wayne Snyder’s stroke landed just 8 ½ feet away from the pin on the 181 yard #6 on yellow course, the closest of the 10 qualifying finalists.  Les Rossman’s ball was second closest, and both golfers received gift certificates from Minervas for their golfing skills and efforts.  The other eight finalists were:  David Newman,(more)

Kiwanis Prayer Breakfast tickets go on sale today. Kiwanis Prayer Breakfast is scheduled for Friday, Aug 14 from 8-9am at Cornerstone Church. A special blessing will be presented for the teachers and students for the upcoming school year. 30th Annual Over 90’s Luncheon  -  6/8/2009

The Kiwanis Club hosted its 30th Annual Over 90’s  Luncheon on Monday, June 8th at Lunkers Restaurant. Maj. Vickie Cole of the Watertown Salvation Army provided the innvocation and the program proceeded with the meal. Kiwanis Supports Pre-School Opportunities -  9/4/2008
Kiwanis donated $1500 to sponsor two children in pre-school.  This is in cooperation with the Watertown School District who is working to make sure every child has an opportunity to attend pre-school.

Hole-in-One Finals Held -  7/29/2008
The Kiwanis $500,000 Hole-in-One Shootout finals were held Monday evening.  Our closest-to-the-pin winner was Josh Kettwig.  Other finalists were Todd Meester, Ken Larson, Steve Yseth, Dennis Kriech, Scott Johnston, Kurt Kezler, Rick Russman, Wayne Snyder, and Justin Rost. Kiwanis donates for Pool Passes -  5/2/2008
Kiwanis donated $500 to be used toward pool passes this summer for children that have a need.  The school district social worker will facilitate the use of the money.

Kiwanis is Boys State Sponsor -  4/3/2008
Kiwanis will contribute to sponsor Thad Titze at Boys State this year with a donation of $150 to the program.  Thad will share his experiences with Kiwanis when he returns.

Donation to Educare Center -  3/24/2008
Kiwanis has purchased a sensory table for the Lake Area Technical Institute Educare Center as part of our focus on Young Children: Priority One.  Kiwanis budgets $500 each year to assist the center with purchases.
